New Generation of Writers

Washington College’s O’Neill Literary House (Lit House for those of us who go to its wonderful readings of both nationally-known and emerging writers) is celebrating its 50th year with an Alumni Extravaganza. It’s all on ZOOM so you can enjoy and even participate regardless of where you are.

Among those who will be sharing their work is Sophie Kerr Prize Finalist, Pete Fortenbaugh, whose short stories have been published by a number of lit mags, including Niche Literary Magazine, Little Patuxent Review, and Washington Writers’ Publishing House’s 2021 anthology, This Is What American Looks Like, as well as the novella, The Monday After Father’s Day, Revelations, A Parable (Head to Wind Publishing). Pete’s immersion into life in what he calls a ‘petrie dish’ of human relations is reflected in his sometimes heartwarming, sometimes difficult and always thought-provoking stories.

The Extravaganza, this coming Wednesday is free, but you need to register.

Wednesday, January 25, 8:00–10:00 PM ETRegister here for this Virtual Extravaganza, held on Zoom.
