On Saturday October 30 at noon, Pete Fortenbaugh, Sophie Kerr Prize finalist and short story writer, will read from his new novella, The Monday After Father’s Day: Revelations, A Parable. Academy Award winner, Ernest Thompson (On Golden Pond) calls Fortenbaugh “a writer with a firm grip on the tiller and a keen eye on the fast-rising tides of the Chesapeake.” Robert Mooney, author of Father of The Man and Executive Director of Etruscan Press, adds that The Monday After Father’s Day is a “beautifully wrought parable of a boy waking to the wonders and horrors of the world… in a time of crisis.”

DUE to predicted wet weather this weekend, Pete’s Saturday reading and booksigning sponsored by Chestertown's wonderful Bookplate will be held at The Retriever Bar (a great venue, especially considering some of the characters in the book!). Noon Oct 30th.
